Supervision style
Services offered by Japan-UK Therapy Link are informed by an Integrative approach based on the Five Relationship Model, which includes Gestalt, Existential, Psychodynamic, Cognitive Behavioural, Transpersonal, and with the strongest influence being humanistic approaches. Cultural issues and their effect on the therapeutic relationship and the client's concerns are explored. The supervision style is supportive and consultative.
Qualifications and experiences in supervision
Yuko Nippoda is a UKCP registered psychotherapist and BACP senior accredited counsellor with extensive experience in the field of psychotherapy and counselling. She is also a UKCP registered supervisor. She has an extensive experience in supervising and training other counsellors and psychotherapists and those in training. Her special interest is in cross-cultural issues. She conducts research and has published many academic and professional papers on this subject.
